This was truly amazing. The simplicity of the app along with the great information was so helpful! The balance of the facts and history along with the "fun" stories was perfect. The detailed instructions on where to stop, where not to stop, and other highlights made it a much more relaxing drive - as well as using our time more efficiently. Seriously - if you are renting a car in Maui you are foolish if you dont purchase this App. Trust me!

I have taken 3 commercial tours on the road to Hana because Ive been nervous about driving it myself. The app made driving it a pleasure. I downloaded it at Honolulu airport, jumped off the plane in Maui and loaded it up as soon as I got my rental car. It immediately started talking and got me on my way on the road to Hana. It was completely hands free as long as I turned it back on after stopping the car (and had location services on, of course--this will degrade battery, so bring a car charger). Because I had done the commercial tours, I definitely knew the places I didnt want to stop because Id seen them too many times. The app definitely made it easy to find most of the cool spots. The stories in between and on the long drive back from Kipahulu helped to pass the time. One improvement that could be made would be ability to play personal playlist in between sections. Otherwise the app is near perfect and helped to keep me from crashing into anything.

This is a great tour guide, better than a group tour and so much better then trying it out on your own. Get it!

Great App! Made driving Maui easy, fun and educational. We called the narrator "Bill" and he was our personal tour guide on the Road to Hana and Haleakala (and other places around the island - we purchased the full Maui guide). We liked how Bill advised us of "must stops" for the experience, optional stops if we had time, and kept us on track for a pleasant, easy drive. The history lesson throughout the drive was a bonus. Thanks GyPSy. Well use this app again, and in other locations if available.

We loved this app. It works exactly as stated in the app description. We used this app in our car while touring various area and Maui and this app had coverage for each area. This is our first experience using a mobile based tour and absolutely love it. Our kids enjoyed the narrations on our tours and the narrator almost become part of the family and we called him uncle Bob
