Oahu FIT

Did the full island tour yesterday. It was great.

Our rental car did not have a AUX jack so could not play it through the car speakers which would have been nice. I brought a small portable speaker just in case, and it worked great. Sat it on the armrest between the front seats and all could hear fine.

I wouldnt want to take the tour without it. Besides all the useful info, it also does an excellent job of navigating. Tells you which lane to get in well in advance of turns.

One thing I was unsure of was whether you had to begin the tour at the beginning. You dont. The tour "begins" in Waikiki but we were going to Pearl Harbor first. When I started the app after PH, as soon as I was on the right road, it picked up from there.

If you want to see something off the tour, just do it. Whenever you get back to the tour route, it picks up at that point and continues.

Well worth the money even though I will probably not have a chance to use it again. Going to Maui tomorrow. Already have the Maui app downloaded.
